“Marley Was Dead, To Begin With,” is a ballet/play hybrid that puts a new spin on the Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. The piece marks the first time Terminus Modern Ballet has created a production specifically for film, and then later adapted it to be performed on stage with a live audience.
The film features an all-original score created by composer Jacob Ryan Smith. The score features a wide variety of soundscapes and moods, ranging from classic Victorian to dense synth-filled compositions.

FANTÔMES: The Haunting of Giselle is an intimate, eerie retelling of the classic Giselle story. Produced by Terminus Modern Ballet and performed through Art Farm at Serenbe, the show debuted in a small outdoor performance space. The ballet creates a ghostly setting filled with love, loss, and the regret for what was and what could have been. The original score, as fractured and nuanced as the mind of the piece's protagonists, carries the audience through its mysterious world.

The world has ended, and the new COVID-19 pandemic has landed college senior Diana and her best friends, Taylor and Marsh, trapped in their childhood bedrooms. Desperate to connect, they log into their computers and unpack their new reality: graduating online, the awkwardness of Facetime relationships, the intensity of mental illness, an uncertain future, and of course, drinking on Zoom at 2 pm.
Driven by a pop-musical score with witty and raw dialogue by Jacob Ryan Smith, this digital musical commissioned by USC takes a completely unprecedented step into a new genre of musical theater.
